Apple has announced an iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus at Apple launch event held at the new Steve jobs theatre at Apple park. Unsurprisingly the new look of iPhone 8 very similar to its last predecessor iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus but there are few key changes, the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus have glass packs rather than aluminium which is done in order to suppose wireless charging. The frame is made of aerospace grade aluminium and both phones are also dust and water resistance.
The iPhone 8 has a 4.7 inch display while iPhone 8 plus sport a 5.5 inch display. Both now have apples true tone technology which dynamically adjust the white balance according to the ambient light around you.
The redesign speakers also set to up to 25% louder sound with better base. And the heart of it all new A11 bionic processor featuring a six core A11 CPU and a brand new Apple designed three core graphic processor which is set to deliver up to 30% better graphic performance.
The iPhone 8 has an improved 12MP rear camera and has also a new image signal processor for quicker autofocus in low light. Video capability have improved with support of 4k at 60fps and 1080p at 240fps. Portrait mode continues to be the more attraction of iPhone 8 plus. And now it gets a brand new feature called portrait lighting which lets you apply a five different professional lighting effects.
Battery life of the both phone have similar to the predecessor but now that also fast charging. Also with the glass backs the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus support wireless charging using the popular wireless charging standard.
Apple's new smartphone iPhone 8 and 8 plus will be available in space grey, silver and a new shade of gold.
The iPhone 8 64GB variant will cost ₹64,000 while the 256GB version will cost ₹77,000 .
The iPhone 8 plus will start it's price ₹73,000 for 64GB variant while ho up to ₹86,000 for 256GB model in India.
All of them will be available in India from SEP 29, 2017.
